Exhibitor Information
This year marks the 15th year that Golden Jubilee will be taking place. This event is the largest of its kind
in the Carolinas – and one of the largest in the country.
For the past 14 years, the event has had a number of new and innovative concepts that have been tried
and this year we are revamping the event like never before!
This year, our theme for the event is "Streets of Senior Resources" and everything about the event will
happen on a 'street' or in a 'neighborhood.' Puzzled? Take a look at our event floorplan for a visual
snapshot of what that means.
What's New in 2011?
►Caregiver Expo - Wednesday, May 4th 3:00pm - 7:00pm
For the past several years, we've held a very well attended networking event for senior industry
professionals in the area. Last year, 225 industry professionals attended the event and in the hopes of
making that event even larger, we have now altered it to encourage personal caregivers to attend.

How the Caregiver Expo will work...
Booth Set-Up will take place from 1pm - 3pm on Wednesday May 4, and the Caregiver Expo will take place
from 3pm - 7pm. Attendees will be encouraged to register for the event. In order to encourage the
registration process of this expo, everyone who registers will be entered into a drawing for a 4-day Cruise
for 2, courtesy of CaregiverCruises.com. The first 500 attendees to arrive at the event will be given a Care
Package with items from our event sponsors. This package will contain items designed specifically with
the caregiver in mind.
How will we reach the caregivers?
This is where we are asking for your help and partnership. You might have noticed that we reduced the
registration price for the event. We did that because we need your help - and believe that by asking for
your help in this way - the entire community will benefit.
It is virtually impossible to reach every caregiver and/or potential caregiver in the area with even the best
marketing plan. But - we can reach every caregiver if the senior industry reaches out to all of their
caregivers collectively.
►Senior Expo - Thursday, May 5th 9:00am - 1:00pm
Golden Jubilee has been a Senior Expo for the last 14 years and our goal has been to bring seniors and
their adult children to the event. We have now switched a part of that focus to the Caregiver Expo and now
give you the opportunity to focus on the seniors at the expo with a dedicated educational component. The
Senior Expo will take place as it always has but if you take a look at the event floorplan, you'll see that we're
now segmenting the event into neighborhoods and the event theme is the 'Streets of Senior Resources.'
Everything will be broken into different neighborhoods (ie, all housing will be together, all health care will
be together, all government agencies will be together, etc.). Sponsors of each section will be located in
the center of the neighborhood with seating for mini-seminar segments. This component is being added
in order to give attendees the greatest opportunity for education.
